On this page I will try to briefly describe the main characters of this on going drama.
Chronos: Funny, green hair defender of man. She gets displaced in time and space. In doing so she finds a group of human survivors who need her help. She is looking for true love (nothing long term). She does not carry any obvious weapons, but has a mean right hook and a sword that glows in the dark. Don’t ask her to tell your future she will laugh at you. And her favorite color is blood red.
Saber: like the tiger. He is a big and dangerous predator. He does have a soft spot for beautiful blonds and a fondness of long handled knives. He is not know for his conversation but has been know of crack a joke every now an then. He looks forward to the day he can hang up his knives and get married.
Holliday: Likes the old west. the guns, the clothes, the speech, even though he is a few century too late. He is a husky blond with fast hands and a faster mouth. He is likely to shoot it first and then ask for a surrender.
Seattle: He might have some native American blood in him but no one really knows. He shorter than his friends by a few inches, but this does not stop him from putting up a good fight. His favorite weapon is a tomahawk axe. He can hit a man sized target at 30 yards. He is a little more quiet then is boisterous friend Holliday but he can hold his own with the jokes.
Melville: is the leader of the lost kindred. He only wishes to keep them safe. He look to be in he late 50’s but he is more like 39.He and many others are being effected by some unknown agent that is making the population age faster. He must find a cure before there is no Kin left.
Saul: Gentle healer. A gifted young man whose gentle nature is at odds with the world outside the compound. He believes, love should rule the world, not violence. He has soft brown hair and big expressive eyes. He has always known that he was a healer. He has never regretted it.
Gwen: Gweniver. vibrant and beautiful. She has long blond hair that shines like the sunshine. A sweet and friendly disposition. She has boundless energy and wants to share her happiness with the rest of the world. She has long been in love with Saber. And to that end has held herself apart from any other suitors.
Socrates: Sombre and reflective. He lives for knowledge. As the head librarians for the kin he takes great store that his records are accurate and complete. To his shock and displeasure he finds that he too is being struck by this early aging.
Margret: Sweet 16 for this lovely brunet. She is in that impressionable age of not quite child and not adult. With her love of gossip and a mouth that moves a mile a minute this girl is ready to take on the world. Whether it wants it or not.
Annie: Dark red hair and freckle she is one tough babe. This warrior woman is one of the Amazons. A special breed of protector. All woman all protector, she is smart and resourceful and can crack a joke as fast as her sweetie Holliday.
Godiva: Time has not been kind to the gold haired rider. She has been living the life of a prisoner for the last 5 years. Dark times are all she can remember until she sees her kin again.
Coop: This is the leader of the Brute Squad. He is not big on brains but so far he has been able to survive all his fights and come out on top.
Anastasia: This beautiful and kind hearted brunette is one of Gwen’s best friends. She believe everything will work out for good in the end. It is this faith that keeps her spirits up during her captivity.
Camulus A young warrior for the Kindred. He is Gwen’s “little” brother. He has named himself after a Celtic god of war. And in many ways tries to emulate the Celtic blood his feels he has running through his veins. He wears his blond hair in braids hang down his back. And carries a short sword on his hip.
Seth Another protector who has taken the name and mantle of a “God of War”. He has chosen to follow in his brothers foot steps. Although he is willing to crack a joke or put a bullet through an enemies eyes. This young god is still very shy, especially when it comes to women.
Gun The last of the gods of war. Gun is bad and black and proud of it. He loves being a protector. He loves that he take the mantle of one of his gods. Perhaps a god that has not been worshiped in the last hundred year. He feels a strong affinity with Africa and many of the nations there.
Gunga Din As Seth’s older brother he leads the way for many of the protectors. In his calm, pragmatic out look. With his in depth studies of many forms of marshal arts; he is considered a master with a sword, many a young protector have come to him for training.
The Council of Elders
As we know there are a number of elders who are the semi ruling body of the Kindred. We have already met 2 of the members. Melville and Socrates.
Nimrod the elder of the healers. He is perhaps one of the oldest folk among the kin. Yet he would never think to take up the mantle of leadership. He loves his kin and looks after everyone, young or old with equal fervor.
Napoleon is the leader of the Protectors. He may be the youngest of the elders. Tough and battle ready this rangy Protector wants nothing more then to *protect* his kin. the thought of outsiders has put him on edge and now he must fight the worst of them; Chronos, who sits right in the middle.
Jekyll or Miss Jekyll as many of the kin call her is the elder for the farmers. She has short almost faded blond hair. Her demeanor is one of a happy mother hen. As long as everyone gets fed Miss Jekyll is happy.
Orion the Hunter has taken his skills over to the guild of tanners. He is more than likely in the same age group as Melville and Socrates yet looks years younger
Pandaulf the Tuner. It was after much thought I decided that this group needed wood workers. To that end I have named them the tuners and joiners after the Mechanical from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Nights Dream. Pandaulf is Margret’s father. He is short and stocky with dark hair that his daughter inherited.
Dixon the last but not least is the elder for the Smiths. At the moment there is not much known about him other then he is easily lead by his fears.
Descriptions of the rescued girls
Brin, Dirty blond hair that hangs straight and thin over her head. It takes on a life of it’s own. Brin keeps it cut short. A big round face some of it is baby fat some is the shape. She has changeable brown eyes. And when she is thinking about something she almost seems to winks one eye. She has wide shoulders and sturdy body made for working a farm and having children. She is a medium height. Maybe around 15 or 16 years old.
Alys, is thin and has delicate features. Her soft dark brown hair springs in to curls without her having to do much. She keeps it long and in a tight braid down her back. She had big eyes and a solemn expression. Her eyes are remarkable green, She might be 14 or 15. She is tiny but there is every chance she might grow more.
Nev has simple short hair of brown that turns to gold in the summer months. She says it never gets any longer than what it is. She has a lovely heart shaped face that once she has gotten over being frightened and scared is always smiling showing off her too large mouth. She has large lips that are always teasing and snapping. She is tall but sturdy like she too has worked on a farm all her life. She is the oldest at 16.
