the Kindred.
In the reading of the chronicles of the Kindred.
In the providence of Edessa, We Rex and Regius did make known to all that the grounds of the Kindred are now open to all members.

The day of the Big Blast came during the Camping Event of ‘the Battle of Montgisard’ re enactment was taking place.
There were 652 participants Plus some worthy gentles of note.
Alexsander of Teranis and his school of defense.
The 23 infantry of the national guard.
The wandering mistral Betlatina, and her Family.
Most of the student population of the Canton of Bergonmont.(A near by college)
The National Guard had been called to arms in the first hour of the event’s progress. With this warning we were able to call another 20 members and their families.
We were in the sheltered bunkers with in 20 minutes. The 23 was above ground awaiting pickup. No such pick arrived. They asked for and were giving sanctuary.
With the help of the civilian radios and Ham operators we learned the worst had befallen the world.
So ends the first day of the end of the world.

In the first week we heard much suffering and pleading and yet were unable to act.
As we were in our cozy bunkers. We had a number of small hand held radios to communicate with each bunker. We could not leave the bunkers. They had been designed to seal in such cases and remain so for the first 48 hours. (based on past germ warfare statistics)
At first we were all in shock over what at happened that there was no need for leader ship.
We knew what we needed to do and spent the time comforting those who lost family.
Still this was not an easy time.
There were many dead or unaccounted for. many in shock and many still who wanted to believe otherwise.
By the end of the first week we had facts. Less and less HAM were on line and we could not establish communications outside the compound. There was nothing but silences. A horrible silences of hissing air waves.
Our number of protected environmental suits was to the count 16. 4 in each bunker but the library.
Small groups were sent out to see if gas and radiation fall out was dangerous.
All surveys came back negative, but they did report heavy cloud cover and a rapid drop in temperature.
We can only guess what that means.
so ends the first week of the end of the world
Chronicler, Joan of Acre. (woe to man’s survival)

After the first week it soon be came evident that the bunkers were being used at more then the designed capacity.
Some bunkers did not have enough sleeping spaces. Some did not have enough food and water. The Sanitary system was being over taxed.
It was then agreed, by majority vote that all whole wanted to venture out should be allowed.
But they could not bring any one back with them. Almost half the population took this opportunity.
It was with tearful good byes we see them leave.
So ends the second week of the end of the world
Chronicler. Joan of Acre. (suffering of man has only begun.)
Please note, All Names and places are products of my imagination.

I know I should write more, but after getting started I realized that this was going to take more time than I had thought. I do want to write about the kindred. But not at the same time as I am writing about Chronos. And because this is her story right now not the Kindred, I only put together a very brief bit.
